Year 6 taken to court!

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

Class: Year 6 Year: 2025 - 2026

Year 6 had some exciting visitors today - three Lancashire Magistrates came to talk to the children about the youth and adult courts in preston; the role of a magistrate; and relevant laws. The children also took part in a mock trial - The theft of the bicycle! Some of the children played magistrates, witnesses, ushers and even the accused! The rest of the class worked hard to listen to the evidence; decide on the verdict; and issue the sanction! 

As always, the children represented Sherwood well and made us all very proud.
