Thank you for your interest in our School. We are exceptionally proud of our children, School and everything we achieve together as a School Community.

As a Community Primary School, all admissions are coordinated by the Local Education Authority. The Lancashire County Council admission policy is applied in the event of over subscription. The admission number for Sherwood Primary School is 60 pupils per year group.
Applications for our Foundation Unit (Reception) need to be made directly to Lancashire County Council through the following website www.lancashire.gov.uk. For further assistance with your application please ring 0300 123 6707.
All in-year applications for admission to Years 1-6 are co-ordinated by Lancashire Council's Pupil Access Team South. The team can be contacted directly via telephone on 01772-532109 or by email to [email protected] . We do not hold a waiting list for places. Appeals
If your application is unsuccessful, you have the option to Appeal the decision of the Local Authoroty. Your appeal should be submitted using the link below within twenty days of refusal of admission. The appeal provides you with an opportunity to explain why you wish to register your child at our school. The appeal forms and advice on how to complete them is available on the Lancashire County Council website:
