Year 4 Ingleton Waterfalls walk

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 4 Year: 2025 - 2026

Today, the children in year 4 took their learning outside and linked it with an adventure in the North Yorkshire Dales in Ingleton at the Falls walk. Great perseverance was needed for the 8km walk. The scenery was simply breathtaking and the children learnt about the upper reaches of a river system. Spirits weren't even dampened, quite literally, with a deluge 10 minutes from the end of the walk. Well done Year 4, a truly impressive achievement.
