Year 3 make seasonal tarts

Over the past couple of weeks, the children have been learning about different foods and where they come from. They have been learning about different climates and where different foods come from. The children were given a challenge to help the school kitchen design a healthy, seasonal tart. The children designed their own tart with three seasonal vegetables and today they made their tarts. The children used the skill of chopping to make their ingredients smaller.
