In DT, Year 4 have enjoyed designing and making a book cover for their Pathway books. They created a paper template and used this to cut out their material. They learnt how to use running stitch, back stitch and blanket stitch to sew their covers. Finally, they added a fastening to keep their books secure and added decoration to personalise their designs.
