Tower Wood day 2
Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom
Class: Year 5 Year: 2024 - 2025
Day 2 at Tower Wood began with a hearty breakfast after a good nights sleep. Then it was straight into the activities for the day. Different groups were involved in adventure days off-site, visiting Cathedral Quarry and exploring the mine tunnels in the dark before paddleboarding or paddling in Lake Coniston. Other groups went for hikes up Gummers Howe before paddling back to Tower Wood in canoes. Other activities included Ghyll scrambling and kayaking on Lake Windermere.
