Tower Wood day 1
Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom
Class: Year 5 Year: 2024 - 2025
We arrived at Tower Wood all ready for the first day of action and the children didn't disappoint. They were thrown in, literally, at the deep end, spending time investigating the site before taking part in lake activities and climbing. Some children were on the lake all afternoon and had their first experience of falling/jumping into Lake Windermere whilst others took part in high ropes and tree climbing.
Evening activities of orienteering have hopefully shattered the children who are now off for a well earned rest ready for the activities tomorrow. Enjoy the photos.
