Sports Festival 2025

Lesson: Physical education

Class: Year 3 Year: 2024 - 2025

This week, 61 children from KS2 were chosen to represent Sherwood at the Preston schools sports festival at UCLAN sports arena. We has teams in 8 events.  Cricket, netball, tennis, girls football, football, giant skills, hockey and frisbee.  All our children were exceptional in not only their sporting ability but their sportsmanship also.  

Sherwood came away with 2 1st, 1 2nd and 1 3rd trophy with some extraordinary individual performances.
