Science Week in Year 2

Class: Year 2 Year: 2024 - 2025

We have lots of exciting activities to celebrate Science week this week. On Monday, we had a visit from Mrs Sayed-Jagirdar, to talk to us about what it's like to be a dentist and the scientific knowledge you need to be able to be a dentist. 

We also watched a live Science lesson, during which we earned lots of badges, including:

Wast Warriors

Recycle Warriors

Biology Buddy

On Wednesday we were delighted to invite Dr Malikba Ghosh into school to discuss how she uses Science in her job. She talked to the children about how the brain works and what her role when helping people who have had significant brain trauma. Thanks Dr Ghosh!
