A Vehicle for Mr Toad!

Class: Year 2 Year: 2025 - 2026

Year 2 have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Wind in the Willows. They were even more excited to learn that they would soon make a vehicle for Mr Toad, that had to be able to move! We began by researching vehicle parts and design ideas, we looked at other vehicles to identify how they move then we designed our own suitable vehicle before finally creating the final product. What a success! The hardwork, determination, craftsmanship and not to mention the super sawing skills! Year 2 engineered a fantastic product in their design and technology unit this half-term and today we were able to enjoy evaluating our vehicles to see whether they were able to move and what we would do differently next time to improve our product.
