Learning about a new Ancient Civilisation - The Maya

Lesson: History

Year 6 have been introduced to our new History topic - The Ancient Civilisation of the Maya. 

Professor Tuesday came in to introduce the children to The Maya - they learned all about their social structure; their beliefs in their Gods; what impact they had on our current lives; and looked at some exciting artefacts from the era. 

We will continue to delve into these topics across the next two half terms.
