Investigation of the digestive system

Class: Year 4 Year: 2025 - 2026

This afternoon, Year 4 have been investigating the digestive system in a number of ways. After discussion they have identified the main stages of the process, naming each one and the organs involved. This leant itself to getting really practical and showing the process in a simpler form using tights and cups. The children completed both a fascinating and gross experiment and enjoyed every minute. Quiz them when they get home, or recreate the experiment.
