Ingleton Falls

Lesson: Geography

Class: Year 4 Year: 2024 - 2025

Year 4 had a great time at Ingleton Falls yesterday. To enhance their learning about rivers, they explored the geology and ecology of the falls along the 4 1/2 mile trail whilst expertly following the map. They spotted ferns, oak trees and hazel trees, and dippers and grey wagtails along the river Twiss. They learnt about how the waterfalls were formed and where the water comes from and flows to. Most of all, they showed perseverance on the walk and dispalyed an amazing spirit of adventure - well done Year 4!
