History vocabulary relay

Class: Year 4 Year: 2026 - 2027

The children in Year 4 have investigated more of the vocabulary they will use in this terms History topic. They were placed in teams before taking part in vocabulary relay. Each child in a team had to run to pick up either some key vocabulary or a word and the definitions separately before returning to their team. This continued until all had been collected. Children then matched the key vocabulary with the definitions to become familiar with key vocabulary. Fun and exercise combined with vocabulary. Perfect.
