First Week in Year 4

What a busy start to Year 4!

This week, our English unit on the Loch Ness Monster began with a Monster Hunt around the school grounds - the children worked in teams to find all the monsters and to record the key facts. In Maths, we have began working on our times tables and place value of numbers. We have also started our History unit on the Anglo-Saxons by searching for statements around the classroom and deciding if they were true or false. In Science, we have been on a 'sound walk' and mapped out sounds and their sources around the school grounds. 

The children have made a brilliant start to their learning in Year 4!
