Lesson: Understanding the World

The children completed their learning about lifecycles this week, by releasing the butterflies they have observed growing and changing from the tiny caterpillars that arrived a few weeks ago.  The butterflies were very friendly and stayed around for long enough for lots of the children to have a turn at holding them.  Our frogs and froglets have also been released back into the pond this afternoon.  Along with our chicks, now back at the farm, it has been a wonderful half-term of learning.
