Class: Year 2 Year: 2024 - 2025

What a day! We took the tram from Starr Gate station to the Tower.  We saw many landmarks along the way, including the Pleasure Beach, the Sandcastle Waterpark, Coral Island, South Peir and Central Pier. We got off the tram at Blackpool Tower and took a moment to take in the sights of Blackpool. We then went into the Tower to watch the world-famous Blackpool Circus.  We couldn't believe our eyes at the fantastic acts from around the world.  After that, we went into the prestigious Blackpool Ballroom to eat our lunch and watch the dancing. We even had the opportunity to dance the Hokey Cokey on the iconic ballroom floor!  Back on the Comedy Carpet, we learnt how to do the Charleston dance- a famous dance from the 1920s. Finally, we studied our maps to check which landmarks we had spotted on our trip to Blackpool.
