An egg-citing week!

Class: Foundation Year: 2024 - 2025

EYFS had a special delivery of some eggs on Tuesday. We have enjoyed observing them in their incubator and have been looking out for signs of pipping and unzipping. We set a Timelapse camera up on Wednesday night and to our delight, came in on Thursday morning to find 8 of the eggs had hatched! The chicks have been moved into their brooder box where we will look after them until the end of next week. This has been a fantastic experience to help us learn about the life cycle of a chicken.
