2A Visit Masjid e Salaam

Class: Year 2 Year: 2025 - 2026

This morning, Year 2 visited Masjid e Salaam in Preston to support our recent learning about Islam. The Imam told us all about the 5 Pillars of Islam before showing us the Wudhu area and explained the Wudhu ritual before prayer. We could remember a lot of this from our learning in RE this half-term and the children shared their knowledge with the Imam. After this, we went into the Prayer hall to learn about the different times of the day that prayer takes place. We had a fantastic morning.
