Statutory Assessment in Year 4

At the end of Year 4, the children will complete a statutory multiplication check. This check will take place in June 2026 and is carried out in small groups using ipads.

Multiplication Check Information for Parents

Throughout the year, we will be providing the children with a variety of methods, strategies and opportunities for learning their times tables. Daily practise at home and in school is essential for fluency in recall by the end of Year 4. There will also be special awards for the children who learn all their multiplication facts up to 12 x 12 -  click here for the Sherwood Badge 12 Multiplication Challenge
