Spellings in Year 4

Our aim in Year 4 is to support the children in their spelling journey. Many of the spellings they will learn follow patterns and rules. Every week children will be taught the patterns and rules to apply the spellings correctly e.g. apostrophe for possession, prefixes, suffixes etc. They will receive regular spelling homework linked to what they are learning in school.
