Preston Bee Stingers Netball Champions

Congratulations to our Netball players who competed at the Preston Bee Stingers Competition today. Bee Stingers is a fast paced tournament, with rotating positions after each game half. We took two teams this year (Blues and Reds). Well done to all players who really pushed their skills to a new level in their first competition. 

Our Reds started really strong but after a couple of defeats did not progress to the knock out stages.

Our Blue Team fought hard in a number of games and progressed to the final stages - coming back from behind in their quarter final, followed by a close game in the semi-final. Following a 3:0 victory, our children were crowned winners in the final.

As Preston District Winners, we now progress to the County Bee Stingers Final at UCLAN on 8th July. Congratulations Sherwood!
