Preston Docks and Hindu Temple visit

Dear Parents,  

As part of our Year 3 RE curriculum about Hinduism, we will be visiting the Gujarat Hindu Society Temple in Preston on Wednesday 11th December 2024. The children will have a guided tour of the prayer hall, followed by a short question and answer session.  

After the visit to the temple, the children will then visit Preston Docks to continue their learning in geography.  

To cover the cost of transport and pay the temple for their time, we are asking for a voluntary contribution of £7.00 for each child. If your child is in receipt of pupil premium funding, we request £3.50. Please make your payment using ParentPay by Wednesday 4th December 2024.  

The children will wear school uniform as usual and they will be back at school in time for lunch.
