Blackpool Trip

Dear Parents and Carers,

On Tuesday 8th July 2025, Year 2 will be visiting the coastal town of Blackpool. We will be boarding a tram from Starr Gate to take us up to Blackpool Tower to see the sights, taking in the human physical features of the coastline along the way. We will also be visiting the famous Tower Circus. This trip is linked to our topic of The Seaside – Then and Now.

We will travel to Blackpool at 9.30am by coach and return to school by 2.45pm. The children will be required to wear their normal school uniform. Depending on the weather conditions on the day, please can the children come to school prepared with the appropriate clothing. If sunny and warm, children are required to bring a sunhat, water bottle, light jacket and have sun cream applied in the morning before attending school. If raining and cold, children are required to bring a hooded jacket.

All children will be provided with a packed lunch for the day.

We kindly request a payment of £16.80 to contribute towards transport and the cost of the circus. Please pay via Parent Pay by the 1st July. If your child is in receipt of Pupil Premium we kindly request a payment of £8.40.
