The Evolution of Phones

Lesson: History

Year 1 are learning about the history of the telephone and the inventor Alexander Graham Bell. Children brought in old mobile phones from home and we explored how they have changed over time. The children were in awe of the amount of buttons on mobile phones from the past and how small the screens used to be.

We had lots of interesting discussions about the use of mobile phones and how they have changed since the first mobile phones.
