Year 6 Monday 28th September

Good Morning Year 6,

We hope you have had a restful weekend, and are ready for these next two days of Remote Learning.

This week, you are going to complete some research on Indonesia and create a poster of your top ten facts to share with your class when we are back together on Wednesday, Today, you will be brushing up on your arithmetic skills in Maths and learning how to write an autobiography in English. Please see the Remote Learning Overview below.

Keep sending in your House Captain videos (deadline extended to Friday 2nd October).

This week's theme is Connectedness.

After some time away from each other, humans often have a strong desire to re-connect. Over the last week, we  have missed school, but this week we will re-connect with each other. Watch the story of Stone Soup (link below).

Stone Soup

This is a story about helping and supporting each other in times of need. Sometimes the challenges we face feel really difficult, but we can reach out to others for support when we need it. Remember that we can also be a source of help and support for each other.

Have a great day, and remember that we will be back in school this Wednesday (30th September).
