Happy Thursday Year 2!
HAPPY WORLD BOOK DAY!
To celebrate World Book Day we have a few fun activities for you to do. Firstly, we would like you to complete your guided reading task which we would normally do on Thursday. Afterwards you are going to be writers, characters and quizzers! We want you to be authors and write your own text. Next, you will be discussing your favourite character and acting in role. There is a little quiz we would like you to do on books and poems. Finally, we would love for you to make your own bookmark so you can use it when you read your own books at home.
TOP TIPS FOR LEARNING AT HOME
- ALWAYS check you have remembered capital letters, full stops and finger spaces when writing. Does your writing make sense? Read it back. Check for any errors!
- Show your jottings and working out when solving Maths problems. ALWAYS explain HOW you know if the question asks you to do this.
- Beautiful presentation for ALL pieces of work please!
The tasks for today can be found on today's Remote Learning Plan. All sheets/resources will be uploaded in the same place or on SeeSaw.
