Year 2 DT Days

Lesson: Design and technology

Class: Year 2 Year: 2022 - 2023

This week, the children have been learning about wheels and axles in their DT lessons. They have been learning about mechanisms. The children discussed together and came up with their design brief: to make a moving vehicle for Mr Toad to use. They had to ensure their vehicle included an axle, some wheels and washers. The children worked well as groups. They have designed and made some wonderful moving vehicles. Tomorrow, we will test them and then evaluate them.
