Happy Friday Year 2!
Last day for home learning for the majority of you! Well done for a fantastic few weeks. You have all been incredible because of the positive, 'can do' attitude you have taken to home learning. We know it hasn't been easy but you all rose to the challenge and have done remarkably well. You should be very proud of yourselves, we are proud of you too!
Today in English we will be sequencing the events of The Wind and the Willows. We are then recapping subtraction with exchange by using the inverse. You have a challenge to decode the word using what we have learnt this week. Finally we will be ending the week with P.E where you are practicing your throwing and catching position.
Just a little note for 2SR, some of you will be returning on Monday and Mrs Brown will be there to give you a very warm welcome. Your first task will be to find your trays as they are currently playing hide and seek! Once everyone is in Mrs Brown will of course help you and help you find your new seats. The other half of 2SR will be returning on Tuesday. Those still at home, please continue to access the remote learning pages and SeeSaw for your learning on Monday. We will all be together soon!
TOP TIPS FOR LEARNING AT HOME
- ALWAYS check you have remembered capital letters, full stops and finger spaces when writing. Does your writing make sense? Read it back. Check for any errors!
- Show your jottings and working out when solving Maths problems. ALWAYS explain HOW you know if the question asks you to do this.
- Beautiful presentation for ALL pieces of work please!
