Year 2 03/03/21
Happy Wednesday Year 2!
Another brilliant day yesterday! We enjoyed reading your opinions about the film of Wind and the Willows compared to the book. You also did a great job looking at problems with subtraction and comparing the plants. It was fantastic to see your posters explaining the 4 categories that plants can fall into.
As we have now finished reading Wind in the Willows we will be reflecting on the story by thinking about the characters, who they are and where they live. We will also reflect on the main events of the story by answering questions. In Maths we will be exploring the relationship between addition and subtraction and realising that they are the inverse of each other. Our topic is history where we explore further into the seaside by answering and asking questions on objects.
Please continue your fantastic work so far, we are all so proud of you! Keep going!
TOP TIPS FOR LEARNING AT HOME
- ALWAYS check you have remembered capital letters, full stops and finger spaces when writing. Does your writing make sense? Read it back. Check for any errors!
- Show your jottings and working out when solving Maths problems. ALWAYS explain HOW you know if the question asks you to do this.
- Beautiful presentation for ALL pieces of work please!
