Sarah Smith-Sergeant

I’m delighted to be a part of the governing body at Sherwood Primary as a parent governor. My twins have enjoyed attending the school since 2017. My background is in secondary education, specialising in Geography, however, I now work locally as a Yoga teacher and Children’s Yoga Therapist. I’m also studying for a Masters degree in Psychology.  My interests lies in in the health and wellbeing of children and young people and promotion of inclusivity and diversity within schools. I sit on the Health, Safety and Safeguarding Commitee and Staffing Committee. I am also nominated Governor for Geography and utilise my curriculum knowledge to support the strategic direction of the curriculum at Sherwood.
