Homework
Homework will be set each Friday. Please complete and return homework tasks by Wednesday each week. The Homework Overwview will be uploaded on a Friday onto this page.
Homework will be provided in different forms including written, Seesaw tasks, maths activity books, MyMaths and others. This will be clarified in the Homework Overview each week.
Make sure each piece of written work has a neat, underlined date and title. Keep presentation tip top and just have a go! Please don't spend hours battling through any piece of homework; come and speak to us if there are any issues and we will work through it.
Learning spellings, times tables and reading are ongoing, so keep going with that!
Maths homework may be given on the 'MyMaths' website. Although there will not be written feedback for this homework, it will be carefully checked and verbal feedback will be given. Basic addition, subtraction, mulltiplication and division facts are the key to learning in many areas of maths; the 'Top marks' website is very useful for learning number facts, particularly the game 'Hit the button'.
One of the main things you could do at home to help your children is to talk to them about their learning. Go through the vocabulary on our class newsletter, discussing your child's understanding of each word and how it relates to what we are learning in class.
