Anti-Bullying

It is our aim to ensure that every member of the school community feels valued and respected, and that each person is treated fairly. We are a caring School Community and our values are built on mutual respect for all.

Our School Behaviour and Discipline Policy is therefore designed to support the way in which all members of our School can live and work together in a supportive way. It aims to promote an environment where everyone feels happy, safe and secure. Our policy aims to produce a consistent school response to any alleged bullying incidents that may occur in person, online or through electronic devices.

Bullying is repeated action taken by one or more children with the deliberate intention of hurting another child, either physically or emotionally.

Bullying is wrong and is harmful to individual children. We therefore do all we can to prevent it, by developing a school ethos in which bullying is regarded as unacceptable. We operate a policy of inclusion so that there is no discrimination against any pupil.
