Year 6 Monday 21st September
Morning Year 6,
We hope you are all ok and ready to begin this week's challenges. We are very sad that we are not in school this week, but we are sure that your resilience and positivity will shine through in the week ahead.
This week, we will be looking at mental and written methods of multiplication in Maths and biographies in English. Linked to our topic of Survival, you will find out about the lives of Mary Anning and Charles Darwin, and their legacies in the study of evolution. By the end of the week, you will have written your own biography on the life of Charles Darwin. We will miss reading Running Wild this week, but will continue our fiction unit based on the text when we all return to school.
Please see the Y6 Remote Learning Overview (below) for information on this week's tasks.
Each day we will upload the Powerpoints and resources needed to access the day's learning, and to complete the tasks.
Stay safe and keep in touch via the Year 6 email
