Happy Tuesday Year 6,

This week's assembly theme is Teamwork, and although we can't be together in school as a team this week, I am setting you the challenge of earning as many housepoints as you can for your House Team - so make sure you tally up those housepoints and we will add them to the charts after half term. The winning house might even get a prize!

Spend a bit of time reflecting today how unity and teamwork can bring out the best in people. Have a look at the Powerpoint below and listen to, watch and join in with We're All in This Together from High School Musical. What does unity mean? What is the main message in the lyrics? How can we work together for the good others and offer support to each other?

From your emails yesterday, it is great to see what a positive start you have made to your learning this week - keep sending your work via the Year 6 email so that we can give you feedback plus lots of housepoints. For your core learning today, you have activities on expanded noun phrases and mental methods for subtraction - make sure you use the Powerpoints and watch the tutorials.
